Becoming a Thriving Coach
At the end of 2021 I looked back at my coaching career and realised just how far I'd come.
From the early days of walking the streets handing out flyers to events I ran at local gyms (image is of my first ever event).
To now being a best selling author, speaking at global summits alongside people like Tony Robbins, Robin Sharma, Marisa Peer, Dr Deepak Chopra, Les Brown and many other industry leaders.
Over the years I'd learned so much about building a profitable and impactful coaching business.
The years of pain, stress and confusion...
...that I'd been through trying to figure out my niche, how to get more leads, how to build automation using software, how to confidently speak and sell in front of large groups, plus...
How to write powerful copy and really touch the people I wanted to impact, how to navigate content creation and social media, how to conduct sales calls in an enjoyable manner with high conversion rates.
There is so much to it, but here's the thing...
Learning all of those skills and strategies paid off big time...
...and are highly valuable, especially to a coach that wants more structure, clarity and certainty to make a full time career in this industry.
As I reflected on everything I had accomplished, and realised how much I actually knew, I decided to write a book that would give any coach the missing pieces of the puzzle for them to build a highly successful coaching business.
I called it The Thriving Coach - 5 Essential Pillars & Strategies for Building a Successful Coaching Business.
I would wake up at 3am when the world was still sleeping and just pour everything into the book that I had learned through the years of stress and struggle trying to build my business and run events (one time I spent $20,000 putting an event together and had 2 people show up).
Over the years I've invested well over $100,000 in mentorships, books and courses spanning from social media, marketing, sales, business development and systems, as well as over $100,000 into digital marketing agencies and advertising.
I knew that all of this experience and the lessons I'd learned would be able to save someone else tens of thousands of dollars and a decade of stress, so I decided to put it into free book that is very easy to digest.

The book flows, the energy is incredible, I found it very easy to ‘inhale’, and I really enjoyed reading through your personal experiences as you embarked on your journey in the coaching industry.
I really like the discovery questions and activities scattered throughout the book, the section on niching was really helpful. I have done a social media course, and various other courses that talk about niching and I felt like your explanation gave a different perspective on this and a more detailed way of exploring it.
I also liked the part about being yourself and finding your unique gifts. I think this is really important in the coaching industry. You have followed this up with clear, actionable steps to help identify this – from both outside sources and self reflection.
The ideas about the different vehicles for building credibility and expanding your reach was great too!

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the clear, simple language and poignant excerpts from your own life weaved through, with string messaging.
The working points are clear and I love the idea of an interactive book which encourages self reflection- absolutely a core characteristic of a good coach. I particularly enjoyed the "finding your why" exercise.
I really enjoyed use of dot points throughout, they made it really easy to follow and it felt well structured. I also loved the imagery throughout, which helped solidify your points, like the example with the octopus.
